How are you enjoying London Fashion Week? I am excited about some of the looks coming up, and watched the Rihanna for River Island live stream last night, so there's good things coming our way! But I wanted to share with you some nail art after our I was inspired by the Felder Felder collection from Friday. I loved a lot of the pieces, and wanted to recreate a few into nail art looks, but chose this one above. It is a luxe velvet coat with the slinkiest gold pants underneath, which have a green undertone.
I went about recreating it by applying two layers of
Frontcover's Hit The Jackpot (gold). Once dry I used striping tape to section off halfway and painted from the middle to the tips in LA Colors - which despite it's cheap price (I think it was 99p) was surprisingly thick and glossy. I only needed one coat of this, and was so impressed will be using it in some more nail art.
Unfortunately I fell asleep before snapping a picture of my nails, and woke up with bed-nails, ahhh! I remembered I had a bottle of
Seche Vite topcoat waiting to be tried out, so I applied a layer of this over the top, as I had heard this is also good for smoothing out any bumps in nail art - and true to form it worked! Of course my nails are still a little scuffed, but there is only so much repair work you can do afterwards.
Let me know what you think of this design. It was one of the more simple ones from the Felder Felder collection, but I liked it. What has been your favourite show so far this London Fashion Week?
